October in Crete...
October is lovely on the gorgeous Greek Island of Crete. The weather is turning milder and there are fewer tourists visiting the island. Crete is a very green island but after a scorching summer, it can be quite dusty. but the autumn rains will soon brighten the place up.
There are some beautiful autumnal flowers blooming in October including this serene Sea Lily found growing wild on the beaches of Crete.
